Richmond is located in the South-East Melbourne Central Business District in the City of Yarra municipality. 

 

A diverse suburb, contains a mix of expensive converted warehouse residences, terrace houses from the Victorian Era along with a residential segment of the suburb. Head down to Swan Street where you can find a european cultured cafes such as Demitri’s Feast with mouth watering baklava, ouzo-cured salmon or giant baked beans. You will find the experience tantalising. If you head south on Church Street, you will find Top Paddock, proudly displaying a list of Victorian producers open for breakfast, lunch and dinner or if Mexican is more your scene, you can head down to The Mexican Vibe.

Getting Around

 

Richmond is an excellent place to travel around with five stations near by, seven tram lines and it’s practically walking distance from the city centre. Yarra River is also not too far away for those enthusiast who enjoy bike riding or strolling in the open air.
